Stephenson dubs his car the ‘Frankenstein’ and it is definitely eye-catching. The designer then sketches it out from the rear three-quarter angle before he develops the vehicle in 3D. He then sketches out the car from the front three-quarter angle, which is when it starts to really take shape. To create his own car for the game, the designer took inspiration from six of the most iconic models that he has penned, consisting of the Maserati MC12, McLaren P1, Ford Escort Cosworth, Ferrari F430, Ferrari FXX, and the Mini Cooper. Speaking about the design of cars featured in GTA V, Stephenson says they are often two real-life cars that have been mashed together to create one car that is distinct enough to avoid game developer Rockstar getting sued. Frank Stephenson has made a name for himself as one of the automotive industry’s most revered car designers and recently decided to create his dream vehicle for GTA V.
